AM Events is intended for community sites where events can be advertised by site visitors. This module currently includes two blocks, one is a calendar and the other is a list of the next events by date, how many shown can be configured by the site admin. Events will time out automatically and will drop off the list, but will still be available in the admin area if you want to re-list it. Included is an easy validation feature for user submitted events. Options here include validate and show, validate and don't show (perhaps for later editing by a site admin) and delete. The latest public release (v0.18a) now includes search, comments and notification of new events for admins, as well as some bug fixes. |
