Edit: I am now concentrating on Articles version 2, so v1 will not have any more updates, apart from bug fixes and the odd minor change as needed. If you have a suggestion, please see the v2 features/suggestion list.

This is a list of planned features for Articles. It is by no means a comprehensive list, but will serve as a reference - and help prevent people making duplicate requests

o Implement ratings.
o implement "e-mail this to a friend" thingy. (in progress)
o Implement article add/edit preview.
o Implement notifications.
o Do pagination/pagebreak (similar?) to the Sections module.
o Do a category check in articles section. This is to get user to add a category before an article.
o Add pagination and/or collapsible article listings under the category/article listing. (partially done)
o Make article listings in admin sortable by different criteria (by date, category or ID, etc).
o Set published time to user's local timezone, rather than the server's timezone?
o Option to hide/show various elements such as the "[xx views]" caption on the articles listing.
o Add function to delete articles under category when deleting category.
o Add sub-categories.
o Add blocks for latest/recent and popular articles.
o Add PDF version of article.
o Add feature to add custom meta data/tags.

It would be nice to generate PDF files (fpdf) like the "News" and "cbb" mods do.

That is something I have looked into and will do at some point.

In fact, you've reminded me that I need to update that list...

Sorry for the delay in replying...

I am planning, at first, to implement it in the collapsed mode, so you click on a category listing, the see the articles list with pagination links.

I may try it in the default view as well, but that may be messy. I'll see how it goes.
