Before crimbo we ranked really high on Google as in top on (break a commandment) from your articles module!
So thxz again as that is cool and helps our project for oneness.
Been playing should have fixed said error now, so if you could find the root of this it would take you far less time then us as we don't know why it would happen, just doesn't read anything almost like it has changed a mysql entries somewhere?. in the new version of both modules?
Any ideas as we have looked yet still unsure...did think it is the database retrieval yet you know the modules??

Please help so we can relax, as will be cool when articles are then spotlighted again into bopcomment and will just snazzy Xoops its self for being a cool system.
Also have a look at some of the things added on our own site.

Not sure if it is me, yet can you fix this to run with 7.1 or latest version also? please!
As I love your module and decided to use Bopcomments as a spotlight, yet its faulty any ideas...may be me, yet may just be revised version as it did work earlier?

The phpnuke version is basically most of php121 running and getting the users from phpnuke, adding a nuke module files and block file. (There is even the code provided for the block)

So what is to stop us making a Xoops version, and making the first real chat system for Xoops.

As many of us will know Xoops has odd chat systems, yet no cooperative ones that make it stand out.

So could we as a community could get PHP121 converted, or make the newer version of PHP121 into a module, with full integration, above and beyond what phpnuke can do, as we always do.

The possibilities are endless, I also suggested to PHP about integrating it with CBB, which would then make a full integrated message board system: yet for now lets just a get a copy with Xoops and see how it runs together.

If you can help, I have stuck this over every major Xooper?s site, I know, in the hopes we can quickly get a version out.

I am not sure if I should add it to Xoops module Development site or let the person who starts it, I am just trying to organise it and get it off the ground.

Anyway let me know what you think on this post on Xoops.org as that way if people are interested; they can keep each other up-to-date with what?s going, on as a community.

We could have it done in a day or 2 at that rate, if each one says which file they will do and how they define it, on this post to each other.

1st a question, do you fully understand PHP as from using your articles module; I have a number of requested to continue making it the best articles module available for Xoops? (I do feel it already is!!)

1). My site is ranked very high in Google and after adding your module only last week, many of the articles are already ranked 1st, thank you as you page titling enables good ranking.
Yet when they show up on Google, they do not show what they are about; would it be possible to make it that the headline of the article becomes the Meta data, so that people can see what the article is about? Or is it that as the Meta data of my site is ranked high and this has caused it to rank 1st already? Even still it is good that it has ranked 1st already, yet it really does need a description, so that people can read what it is about on Google. So if you could make a modification so that the headline shows in the data on Google this would be excellent!!

2). I recently added the new news 1.3 and it has the ability to turn the news in to a PDF using FPDF. Could you please add this to the articles module and would it be that difficult? As this would make it one of the best articles modules, as then people could read the articles in there own time and save a copy to their computer, which then would distribute the information to people more.

3). I don?t know if it is just me and my server, yet the email service doesn?t function correctly. You can fill everything in alright yet it doesn?t send out the email. Have I missed something or is there an error some where?

4). Many people are blind and have bad eye site, especially when it come to reading computer screens. Many of the older members of my family say they would love to read some of the things on my site, yet they find it hard to look at a computer screen for long, especially find it difficult when the text is small. So would it be possible to make it that the text used for the article is adjustable, by the text sizing facility. As then it would make it that people who do have bad eye site, and use the text on largest could read the article easily.

This is about it for now, as I find more things I will add them if it is ok, as presumably you would like to continue, to make this the best Xoops article system.
